Several years prior to actually launching Foundation Community Church, Pastor Scott believed God was calling him to be a church planter. Before revealing this call to others, Scott and Jennifer began to diligently seek God in prayer and fasting. They worked tirelessly for several months to prepare for this God-inspired endeavor. They first hosted a small group of six people in their home and began casting the vision the Lord had given them. Over the next several months, these meetings resulted in Pastor Scott and Jennifer leading several people to Christ. The vision began to further unfold as they began posting online blogs, websites, and outreach materials. The next step was social networking and recruiting potential staff workers and church members. The hunger for ministry within this core group enabled the first official church service to be held in October of 2011. Many lives have since been changed and many have come to salvation in the short time that Foundation has existed.

After worshipping in the living room of a home and three different lecture rooms in the Edgewood City Schools, the Foundation family opened a new sanctuary of its own in December of 2014. God has provided a prime location right in the heart of Trenton from where we can minister to the entire community. With activities for all ages and a growing congregation, we are excited to begin this next phase of God’s plan!

Foundation has taken it's biggest step of faith in the history of the church. In the spring of 2017 Foundation partnered with John Maxwell's INJOY Stewardship Solutions. This partnership will help lead the way into a new worship center for years to come. The new worship center will allow for the various ministries of Foundation to expand and grow in ways that have previously been confined by space. The desired location for this worship center will be in the heart of Butler County which has a population over 300,000.
